Hey friend,
For the past year, I've been using LemonSqueezy to process payments for my Flutter courses.
While it has worked okay-ish, there have been occasional reliability issues—leading to frustrating checkout experiences for you and missed sales for me.
So, I’m testing a new payment provider: Polar.sh.
And when I say "testing", I mean A/B testing.
What this means for you
Starting today, when you buy a course from codewithandrea.com, you'll be randomly assigned to one of two checkout experiences:
- 50% of visitors will see the existing LemonSqueezy checkout.
- 50% of visitors will see the new Polar.sh checkout.
This happens automatically, and everything else remains the same—your purchased courses will still be available at pro.codewithandrea.com.
What does the Polar checkout look like?
Here's a preview:
🚨 Heads up: Polar does not yet support PayPal.
If you prefer PayPal, look for this link on the checkout page:
Clicking it will take you to the LemonSqueezy checkout (which does support PayPal), where you can complete your purchase.
How long will this A/B test last?
Likely a few weeks. Based on the results, I’ll either fully switch to Polar or stick with LemonSqueezy.
What about receipts & invoices?
Both Polar and LemonSqueezy provide receipts/invoices. You can find more details in the FAQs on Code with Andrea Pro.
Let me know what you think
I hope you like the new checkout experience! If you run into any issues or have feedback, just reply to this email—I’d love to hear from you.
Happy coding!
Andrea
